This wedding invitation suite was designed for Suddhota & Tahmid, two architects who approached their stationery with a clear and thoughtful vision. Every element, from theme to composition, was envisioned by the couple, with the design process focused on translating their ideas into a cohesive visual narrative.
The set features two elongated, narrow cards with half-arch compositions. When placed side by side, the fronts form a complete arch, reflecting the idea of two individual elements coming together as one.
The wedding card draws from heritage influences, incorporating Rajbari-inspired terracotta motifs. The couple is illustrated in a red Benarasi and black attire, with glimpses of an old city visible through the arch, evoking a sense of nostalgia and rootedness.
In contrast, the reception card explores a softer, outdoor setting with green and pastel tones. The couple appears in an ivory lehenga and navy suit, set within a calm, garden-like environment that suggests a lighter, more contemporary celebration.
Portraits were treated with subtle abstraction to retain recognisability while maintaining a timeless, illustrative quality.
