This packaging was designed for a corporate Eid gifting initiative for the Optimizely Bangladesh team. Each box contained a curated set of Eid cooking spices along with a branded gift card.
The brief called for a bold, festive visual language -Â embracing loud colours while maintaining a clean and considered execution. Working directly on a die provided by the print vendor, I developed a design system rooted in maximalist South Asian decorative traditions. The visual elements include crescent moons and stars to evoke the spirit of Eid, rickshaw-paint-inspired floral motifs in the corners, geometric filler patterns, and a small illustrated karai with a hand sprinkling spices, subtly referencing the contents of the box.
The colour palette - neon lime, cobalt blue, deep purple, and orange was derived from the brand’s existing palette, allowing the design to feel celebratory without becoming generic. A two-sided hang tag completed the set, carrying the Eid message on one side and the brand identity on the other.
Silver foil detailing was incorporated to add texture, depth, and a sense of festivity to the final print.
