CONTENT
Animated videos are produced as the learning materials and games are designed as the learning outcome assessment materials for the app.

ANIMATED VIDEOS & GAMES
While designing the visuals of animated videos and games the goals were to be consistent with images or graphical metaphors used in interfaces and their real-world use. We avoided using abstract signs & symbols to support children’s limited capability for symbol-referent mapping.
GAME DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS
The games aim to evaluate the learning outcomes by setting instructions and engaging kids with mini challenges like Drag & Drop, Trace, Puzzles etc. We avoided using visually complex application backgrounds to prevent children from getting confused when interacting with them. Mascot characters appear on the game screens to work as guides or pedagogical agents in all the activities to improve the children's learning outcomes.
REPRESENTATION
The hovering hand icon is used as an interaction prompt to help children show & remember how to accomplish
tasks through different gestures like tap, drag & drop, swipe etc. These hands are designed keeping an inclusive skin tone palette in mind. They appear in different games alternatively.
IN-APP SCREENS
Interactive elements are designed to be clear, colourful, attractive and with appropriate shadows to make them stand out. Background elements are designed with clean, regular, bold, and roundish shapes with a simpler, less colourful design.
STORYTELLING
A universe and environment for the storytelling of the animated videos is designed which act as the backgrounds for the mascot and the other supporting characters, where events take place.
